Herbert PAULISCHIN
Social Europe is not possible without social workers
Herbert Paulischin is the IFSW Europe Representative to the United Nations, President of Center for Training and Assessment in Social Work (CFCECAS) since 2008 and president of International Federation of Social Workers Europe (1998-2002).
From 2015 to 2017 Herbert Paulischin served as Twinning Advisor (Project Coordinator) of the EU funded Twinning Project on development of social services in Azerbaijan; Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MLSPP) AZ/14/ENP/SO/29. This project was important for Azerbaijan as created the first National Strategy for Social Services.
From 2008 to 2011, Herbert created and coordinated an international consortium for the strategic project implemented in Romania: Create and implement an integrated model of evaluation, training and access to labour market for persons with disabilities in Romania.
From 2000 to 2003, Herbert was representing the Ministry of Social Security, Austria as the PAA, Pre-Accession-Advisor (Project Coordinator)for Child welfare social services reform (including education of social workers, consultancy for Bulgarian Ministry of Labor and Social Policy).
